    The handheld transmitter is powered exclusively by the BA 70 battery (separate accessory).

Switching the SKM on and off

To switch the SKM on:

Short press the ON/OFF button.

The SKM is starting. The status LED is orange.

To put the SKM in pairing mode:

When the SKM is switched off, press the ON/OFF button for about seven seconds.
The SKM is searching for a new Base Station to pair. The status LED is flashing blue.

To switch the SKM off:

Press the ON/OFF button.
The status LED goes off.

The SKM has been switched on/off.

When the SKM is unpaired via the software Spectera WebUI, the SKM will automatically switch into pairing mode. The status LED is flashing blue.

Sleep mode

The SKM switches to sleep mode after 5 minutes if it cannot establish a connection to the Base Station. The LED then pulses green.

Once per 20 seconds, the SKM wakes up automatically and checks whether a connection to the Base Station can be established.

Operating the jog dial wakes the SKM up immediately and it attempts to establish a connection.

In doing so, the SKM searches for a connection for 10 seconds.

If a connection is established, the SKM remains active; otherwise, it switches back to sleep mode.
