Protecting the WSM with a password

To protect this WSM and its devices against manipulation, you can enter a password; proceed as follows:
  1. Click on “System” > “Preferences”.
  2. Select the “Use Password” radio button.
To set up a password:
  1. Enter your password in the “New Password” and “Confirmation” fields.
    The “Old Password” field remains empty.
To change your password:
  1. Enter your old password in the “Old Password” field.
  2. Enter your new password in the “New Password” and “Confirmation” fields.
  3. If you want to disable the password protection, click on the “No Password” radio button.
