Usage Mark & Solo Control

  • Added configuration options in LinkDesk to define how the setup can be accessed:
    • Solo Control OFF: Allows multiple clients—including the WebUI—to monitor the setup simultaneously.
    • Solo Control ON: Enables exclusive access, ensuring that only one client can make configuration changes while others are prevented from modifying the setup.

Reverse Identify for SEKs
  • By long-pressing the volume encoder on the SEK, the corresponding SEK card in LinkDesk will start blinking.

Known issues

Installation
  • Information for beta testers:

    If you had a previous version of LinkDesk installed, due to improvements in the database migration, your existing databases will not be automatically imported.

Device synchronization
  • If the mobile devices in a production are no longer paired with the Base Station, they will be removed from the production. You will need to re-pair and reconfigure them.
  • If the network settings (IP address) of a Base Station in a production are changed, it cannot be synced again and will remain disconnected as long as the IP address differs from the one stored in the production.
    Workaround: update the IP address on the Base Station to match the one stored in LinkDesk, then sync again.
  • Existing devices (Base Station and mobile devices) in a production cannot be swapped with other or new devices at this time.

  • In rare cases, antennas may not be detected and assigned correctly after triggering the device synchronization process.

    Workaround: Retriggering the process can resolve the issue.

  • In rare cases, the device synchronization process might be triggered randomly.
  • In rare cases of extensive usage or heavy data load, LinkDesk might briefly disconnect from the Base Station.
  • When pulling the device configuration after an audio group was removed, the RF capacity might not be updated.
Pairing
  • In rare instances, pairing may result in duplicate mobile device cards appearing.
    Workaround: To resolve this, toggle the device sync button off and then on again.
FW update
  • In some cases, not all mobile devices may be visible during a firmware update.
  • Please avoid locking your PC during the firmware update, as it may cause the process to stop.
Base Station states
  • As part of ongoing development, the Standby state of the Base Station is not yet visualized in LinkDesk. In order to wake up the Base Station, please press the button directly on the device.
Frequency Scan
  • In rare instances, the heatmap colors are not applied correctly. Please check the scan plot.
Dante® audio interface status
  • When the Dante® Primary Control cable is disconnected from the Base Station, the system may incorrectly display a “Connected” status.
    Workaround: If you experience issues with Dante®, please use the Spectera WebUI to check the system status and settings.

Routing Editor

  • As part of ongoing development, routing deletion is currently only possible by resetting the Audio Link Mode. Before performing a reset, please ensure that individual SEKs are removed from any group to avoid unintended changes.
