Known Issues
Installation
If you have installed an older version of LinkDesk: Due to optimizations in the database migration mechanism, this upgrade will not automatically import the existing database.
Device Synchronization
- If mobile devices in the production environment are no longer paired with the Base Station, they will be removed from the production environment. You need to re-pair and reconfigure these devices.
- If the network settings (IP address) of the Base Station in the production environment change, it will not be able to synchronize again, and as long as its IP address does not match the address stored in the production environment, it will remain disconnected.
Workaround: Update the IP address on the Base Station to match the address stored in LinkDesk, then synchronize again.
- Currently, existing devices (Base Station and mobile devices) in the production environment cannot be replaced with other devices or new devices.
- In rare cases, after triggering the device synchronization process, the antenna may not be detected. Re-triggering the process can resolve this issue.
Pairing
- In rare cases, pairing may result in duplicate mobile device cards.
Workaround: To resolve this, turn off the device synchronization button and then turn it back on.
Antenna Validation
- Currently, if incompatible antenna types (UHF or 1G4) are connected to antenna ports assigned to existing RF channels (UHF or 1G4), no error will be displayed.
Antenna Validation
- In some cases, not all mobile devices may be visible during the firmware update process.
- Please avoid locking your computer during the firmware update, as this may cause the update process to stop.
