Terms of Use for Sennheiser DeviceHub including service description, access provisions, and legal terms.

Welcome to Sennheiser DeviceHub

Sennheiser DeviceHub (hereinafter referred to as “DeviceHub”) is a product of Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG, Am Labor 1, 30900 Wedemark (hereinafter referred to as “Sennheiser”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The following Terms of Use apply in the relationship between you and Sennheiser for your use of DeviceHub including all associated features, content and applications. The use of DeviceHub requires that you agree to the following Terms of Use. Access to DeviceHub requires a Sennheiser ID which is subject to the Customer Portal Terms of Use.

§ 1 Service description

DeviceHub is a cloud-based device management platform provided by Sennheiser. The platform enables users to efficiently use the following features for certain Sennheiser devices through a centralized interface (“Device Management Services”):
  • Device configuration: Connect devices to DeviceHub, to setup and adjust settings remotely
  • Real-time monitoring: Access detailed insights and performance metrics for all connected devices through a dashboard.
  • Remote management: Perform updates, troubleshoot, and control devices remotely, minimizing the need for on-site interventions.
  • Alerts and notifications: Proactive alerts for potential issues, helping users prevent downtime and maintain optimal performance.

Sennheiser can extend, modify or cancel the Device Management Services offered for DeviceHub at its own discretion.

§ 2 Sennheiser ID and terms of use Sennheiser customer portal

a) You must have a Sennheiser ID to access and use DeviceHub.

b) If you do not already have a Sennheiser ID, you must create a Sennheiser ID during the registration process for DeviceHub. The creation and use of the Sennheiser ID is subject to the Customer Portal Terms of Use (hereina3er referred to as “Customer Portal Terms of Use”), which you can find here: https://my.sennheiser.com/en-de/terms.

c) Unless otherwise specified in this DeviceHub Terms of Use, the Customer Portal Terms of Use shall apply additionally for the use of DeviceHub.

§ 3 Specific provisions for use of DeviceHub

a) For the use of DeviceHub you must meet the following requirements and adhere to the following conditions: Public
  • Third-party Integrations: In case of integrations with third-party services, platforms or systems performed by you, you are responsible for correctly setting up and maintaining such integrations based on the guidelines in our documentation. You are also responsible for obtaining and maintaining any necessary licenses, permissions or subscriptions for the use of such third-party services, platforms or systems.
  • Settings: You must configure organization-specific settings, user roles, and workflows in accordance with the instructions provided by us.
  • System Compatibility: DeviceHub is designed to function on modern web browsers. You are responsible for ensuring that your systems meet the browser and network requirements specified by us.
  • API Usage: If you use APIs or SDKs for integration or automation, you must adhere to the instructions for such use provided by us.

b) Regular updates of your device may be required to maintain compatibility and security. It is your responsibility to ensure that all updates are applied promptly to any device connected to DeviceHub.

c) Proper configuration and adherence to these requirement are essential for the optimal functionality of DeviceHub. Failure to comply may result in limited functionality or access restrictions.

§ 4 Organizational set-up and grant of access

a) DeviceHub provides a user management system. This allows organizations to administer the devices of different units and users.

b) You can manage access of individuals within or without your organization (hereina3er referred to as “Access Recipients”) to the Device Management Services regarding your devices within your settings. To the extent you have provided permissions to the Access Recipients, the Access Recipients have access to the settings and data of your devices and can use the Device Management Services for your devices.

c) If you grant access to Access Recipients, you are responsible for managing and overseeing the access permissions you provide. This includes ensuring that Access Recipients comply with the provisions of these Terms of Use and any applicable laws and regulations.

d) In relation to Sennheiser you remain liable for any actions taken by the Access Recipients in connection with using the Device Management Services for your devices.

e) You are obliged to revoke access immediately if you become aware of any actual or potential violation of the Terms of Use by the Access Recipients.

f) Sennheiser reserves the right to revoke the granted access at any time, if Sennheiser is of the opinion, that Access Recipients have conducted a breach of the terms of use or any other applicable laws or regulations.

§ 5 Miscellaneous

a) The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany exclusively apply to all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms of Use. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.

b) The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all claims out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be Hanover, Germany.

c) Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The contracting parties undertake to replace an invalid provision with a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economically intended meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. This applies accordingly in the event of contractual loopholes
