Selecting the Mic/Line input
You can select the audio input as the signal source for your Mic/Line link.
For a smooth system configuration, we recommend first selecting the link modes and afterwards assigning the channels:
You can route audio links to several channels. Routing can be performed easily via the routing matrix (see Audio inputs and outputs).
The following input signals are available:
- Auto (unknown)
- Mic
- Line
The automatic mic/line detection is based on power consumption and is optimized for use with Sennheiser microphones. Because third‑party microphones vary widely, reliable detection cannot always be ensured.
To choose the audio input:
- Select the audio input from the drop-down list Mic/Line.
